Aananda Challengers lose yet another last ball match to Aananda Spartans in the first match of the second part of APL-6.
Batting first, Challengers scored 33 from their 8 overs. Kartik Safaya who has been the most expensive buy of the APL-6 made his presence felt giving away just 4 runs of his 2 overs and picking up 2 important wickets.
Kamal Ramnani also bowled a maiden double wicket over to restrict Challengers down.
In response, captain Arihant Jain played sensibly and stayed on the crease till 7th over to make sure his team gets across. However, some good tight bowling from Challengers left Spartans to chase 10 runs in their last over.
Atul Goyal bowling last over for Challengers made it easier for Spartans bowling two crucial wides in the over which in the end proved costly.
