Dynamites Thrash Game Swingers

In a fairly one-sided Super League matchup, Aananda Dynamites secured a 6-wicket victory over Aananda Game Swingers at the Manglam Aananda Box Cricket ground in Jaipur.

Aananda Game Swingers batted first and posted a mere 19/7 in their 8 overs, led by the last wicket partnership of 6 between Amit Jain and Shubham. However, Aananda Dynamites proved too strong with the bat, chasing down the target in just 2.2 overs.

Star performer Deepak Rose shone for the victors, scoring an unbeaten 16 runs off 6 balls to guide his team to a convincing win. Hemant Yadav and Abhishek Singh Petunia also turned in solid bowling displays for the Dynamites.

The result sees the Aananda Dynamites continue their strong season, while the Game Swingers will look to bounce back in their next encounter. Fans were treated to an engaging match that showcased the talent and competitive spirit on display in the Aananda Premier League.

Blasters Blast Past Spartans in Super League Thriller

In a low-scoring affair at the Manglam Ananda Box Cricket stadium in Jaipur, Ananda Blasters came out on top, defeating their rivals Ananda Spartans by 7 runs in the latest Super League matchup.

Blasters, led by a stellar all-round performance from Anil Jangir, posted an impressive total of 27/6 in their 8 overs. Jangir stood his ground firmly with the bat, scoring a solid 6 runs off 18 deliveries anchoring one end up. On the bowling front, the Spartans’ Ishant Garg was the pick of the bowlers, taking a crucial wicket while conceding just 4 runs in his 2 overs.

In response, the Spartans put up a spirited chase, with Ishant Garg once again leading the way with a blistering 3-ball 5 to make the match interesting at the end. However, it was not enough as the Blasters’ bowling attack, spearheaded by Deepak Sharma and Ankur Khandelwal, kept the run-rate in check. Ultimately, the Spartans fell short by 7 runs, finishing their innings at 20/8.

This thrilling victory sees the Ananda Blasters maintain their position at the top of the Super League table, further cementing their status as the team to beat in this year’s tournament. Blasters Slay Depleted UC

In a riveting encounter at the Aananda Premier League Season 8, the Aananda Blasters emerged victorious over the Aananda United Champs by a margin of 21 runs. The match, played at the Jaipur Limited Overs ground on April 2nd, showcased an enthralling display of cricketing skills from both teams.

Winning the toss, Aananda United Champs opted to field first. Aananda Blasters batters took full advantage of the conditions, amassing a formidable total of 42/8 in 7.5 overs. United Champs, in response, could only muster 21 runs in 7.1 overs before being bundled out, ultimately falling short of the target set by their opponents.

Aananda Blasters’ bowling attack deserves special mention for their disciplined and relentless effort, which kept the United Champs batters under constant pressure throughout the innings. The Blasters’ seamers and spinners alike exploited the conditions expertly, consistently hitting the right areas and creating opportunities for breakthroughs.

Despite the United Champs’ best efforts, the target proved to be insurmountable, as they succumbed to the relentless onslaught of the Blasters’ bowling unit. The Blasters’ comprehensive 21-run victory showcased their ability to perform under pressure and their determination to emerge victorious in this high-stakes clash.

Invincibles Start Strong

Invincibles kicked off their campaign in APL Season 8 with a strong performance against Paltan. Batting first, Aananda Invincibles set a formidable target of 49 runs in 8 overs. Ankit Stephen played to his potential and scored 22 of 15 balls with no useful contribution from any other batters in the team.

Paltan seemed off in their bowling giving away 13 extras with 12 wides and 1 No Ball.

In the end, that is what came up as the difference between the two teams with Invincibles taking the win by 14 runs against Paltan.

The EL PREMIRO of APL

Starting from 4th May 2019, the first encounter was between Aananda Invincibles and Aananda Paltan.

That was the beginning of a small community initiative called “APL”. This has now grown from mere 6 teams, 48 players playing for 15 days to over 300 players fighting it out for 50 days.

A lot of ups and downs, and yet the tournament stands strong and is growing more and more with love and support from the community.

So much so that a lot of celebrities like TV Actress Smita Bansal and Former Indian Cricketer Pankaj Singh has graced the occasion with their presence as well.

With 8th season in progress, we are close to 400 matches strong and Life Seems to have come full circle for the tournament with 3 generations of families taking part simultaneously.

We all wish to keep on playing and keep on enjoying for years to come.
